==Inventions== ;Humans on Yavaun use a kind of magic which is also technological, creating special items with little or no materials. Each new item costs Mana points and Resources, and some also require Supplies or Butanium. {|class="wikitable" width="66%" ! width="10%"|Name ! width="10%"| Level ! width="10%"| Mana cost ! Effect |- ! Rations and Utensils |Level 1 |50 Mana points, 50 Resource, 1 Supplies |Units with this in their hand slot subtract one from their Supplies consumption. If their consumption then equals zero, they neither count toward unit Supplies consumption, nor do they suffer hunger penalties. If a unit already requires zero Supplies, rations does not affect their consumption. |- ! Defoliant Bomb |Level 1 |30 Mana points, 100 Resource |This bomb is similar to other explosives, but affects plant life only. It affects a roughly four by four area in which all trees, shrubs, and stumps are completely eliminated. In addition, Eaggra sustain two to ten poison damage from this bomb, regardless of the unit's armour. The defoliant bomb also inflicts five to thirty points of damage on farms and gardens. Note that even a unit without Bomb Planting ability may safely and effectively detonate a defoliant bomb, though they do not have the option to plant or lob it. |- ! Fog Device |Level 2 |60 Mana points, 100 Resource |This device operates much like a bomb, creating a darkness of ten squares in each direction. This darkness appears similar to unexplored areas on all auto-maps, except that of the player who used the device. The darkened area remains so until explored. |- ! Cryo Bomb |Level 2 |40 Mana points, 200 Resource |This bomb acts like any other bomb at the outset, damaging units in a three by three area of det- onation for two to ten points. In addition, the Cryo Bomb freezes any units in the blast area twice as long as a freeze ray. |- ! Work Tools |Level 3 |100 Mana points, 150 Resource |If this item is in a unit's inventory, they gain a Construction and Destruction skill increase of one. Note, however, that Work Tools do not provide a skill level to units that have no Construction or Destruction ability beforehand. |- ! Chemical Bomb |Level 3 |70 Mana points, 300 Resource, 1 Butanium |A unit with Bomb Planting ability is required to use a Chemical Bomb correctly. The bomb does a massive 10-100 points of damage to any unit in the three by three area of effect. |- ! Medical Kit |Level 4 |70 Mana points, 250 Resource |This item can be carried in a unit's inventory. Left-clicking on it instantly heals that unit for ten to forty Life points. After three uses, the kit disappears. |- ! Shield Armour |Level 5 |70 Mana points, 750 Resource, 3 Butanium |Any unit with this item in its inventory gains an armour increase of one. |- ! Teleportation Device |Level 6 |100 Mana points. 250 Resource, 5 Butanium |This device can instantly transport any unit who enters to a location of their choice, up to six squares away. A unit can cross any barrier with a teleportation device, but cannot target an occupied square. Teleportation into water kills the user. If a unit teleports into a vehicle, all units within the vehicle are displaced to the outside, and the teleporting unit becomes the new driver. In addition, teleportation drains half of the user's Life points. |- |} navbox spells WW2
